DESOTO COUNTY, Fla. – Two people were arrested after deputies allegedly found seven pressure cookers filled with marijuana during a traffic stop in DeSoto County.
According to the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office, the couple was pulled over for speeding when a K9 deputy alerted to something in the trunk.
During a search of the car deputies uncovered seven pressure cookers all with marijuana in them, investigators said.
The marijuana weighed a total of 7.884 pounds.
Maykel Capetillo and Ysabel Betancourt are both facing charges of drug possession and intent to sell marijuana after the discovery, according to DCSO.
The couple was taken to the DeSoto County Jail.
