“Fear never builds the future, but hope does.” That was the President Joe Biden quote that seemed to resonate most on Inauguration Day with designer Nicole Hollis, at least according to her Instagram. The San Francisco–based decorator was one of many industry professionals who shared their joy, and relief, on this remarkable day.

Both Jeremiah Brent and Nate Berkus were moved by the proceedings. (The former shared a photograph of the couple watching the inaugural ceremony; the latter included the hashtag #ItsAGoodDay on a post of his own.) Mark D. Sikes uploaded not one but two photographs—one depicting the Capitol bathed in pale pink morning light and the other focusing on National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman’s phenomenal address. Elsewhere, Sheila Bridges and Keita Turner donned special pearls for the occasion in honor of Vice President Kamala Harris. Below, AD PRO rounds up the aforementioned Instagram posts, as well as those shared by Ken Fulk, Joy Moyler, Tiffany Brooks, and others.
