Here’s how former Michigan State players fared in Week 12 of NFL action:
Brian Allen, Los Angeles Rams
Allen started and played all 62 offensive snaps in the Rams’ 36-28 loss to the Packers.
Joe Bachie, Cincinnati Bengals
Bachie saw his largest workload of the season in the Bengals’ 41-10 win over the Steelers. He played 23 defensive plays and 20 special teams plays, recording two tackles in the second half.
Jack Conklin, OT, Cleveland Browns
Conklin was carted off the field in the first quarter on Sunday and Browns coach Kevin Stefanski called the knee injury he suffered “serious”. The injury is the third for Conklin this season: he had just come off injured reserve due to a dislocated elbow and previously missed time with a knee injury earlier in the year. His season could be over after just seven games.
Kirk Cousins, QB, Minnesota Vikings
Cousins went 20-for-32 with two touchdowns and an interception in a Sunday loss to the 49ers. A third-quarter interception helped set up a 49ers touchdown that put them ahead by 14 in the second half.
Andrew Dowell, LB, New Orleans Saints
Dowell’s game was limited to just one play in the Saints’ 31-6 loss to the Bills.
William Gholston, DL, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Gholston had three tackles in the Buccaneers’ win over the Colts, including a tackle for loss in the first quarter.
Brian Hoyer, QB, New England Patriots
Hoyer did not appear in the Patriots’ 36-13 win over the Titans.
Naquan Jones, DT, Tennessee Titans
Jones made the most of his 16 defensive plays, as he recorded a half sack against Patriots quarterback Mac Jones in the fourth quarter that helped force a field goal late in the Titans 36-13 loss to the Patriots.
Justin Layne, CB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Layne played on 12 special teams plays and made one tackle on a kickoff in the Steelers’ 41-10 loss to the Bengals.
Malik McDowell, DT, Cleveland Browns
McDowell had four tackles in the Browns’ loss to the Ravens and was also hit with 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness.
Taybor Pepper, LS, San Francisco 49ers
Pepper made 10 snaps in the 49ers’ win over the Vikings.
Josiah Scott, CB, Philadelphia Eagles
Scott saw action on seven special teams plays without recording a stat in the Eagles’ 13-7 loss to the Giants.
Cody White, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers
For the second straight week, White’s role was limited to special teams as he saw 11 plays with no stats in the Steelers’ 41-10 loss to the Bengals.
