The Godfather has gone off on an expletive-filled rant about how he was portrayed in some recent episodes of the NBC TV show, Young Rock.
During the current third season of NBC’s Young Rock, they have followed the life of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson from his childhood to his teen years and his adult life.
By this point in the show, they have focused on The Rock’s rise in WWE after his failed initial run as a babyface and his heel turn that led to The Rock joining the Nation of Domination stable.
The Nation of Domination stable was formed in late 1996 with Faarooq (Ron Simmons), Crush and Savio Vega as the initial members. By 1997, Crush and Savio were out while Faarooq was leading the group with Kama Mustafa (later known as The Godfather), D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry. Eventually, Rocky Maivia turned heel, joined the group and became The Rock.
The Godfather was the tallest guy in the group while also being a legitimate tough guy, but apparently, he’s not a fan of the casting of his character on the Young Rock TV show.
While speaking on The Attitude Era podcast, The Godfather wasn’t happy about how his character looked on the show.
“F**k Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. That Mot**rf**ker should never had Ceelo f**king Green portray me. I’m 6 foot 7, ok, and they portrayed me as somebody who’s 6 foot 1.”
“So, f**k the Rock, f**k him, m**herf**ker, f**k that ba**ard, , that mo**erf**ker f*cking 3 inches shorter than me and had me 5 inches shorter than me. F**k The Rock.”
The wrestler on the left side of the photo below is the one portraying The Godfather, who does appear shorter than The Rock on the show.
You can see the clip below of The Godfather’s expletive-filled rant. It does appear as though he was laughing a bit during it so maybe he’s not really that mad about it, but he said what he said about it.
