LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A North Fort Myers man was arrested after his fingerprint opened a safe with various illegal drugs inside including nearly 20 grams of Fentanyl.
William Robinson, 40, was arrested after he was pulled over for a broken tag light, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said Robinson had a high-tech safe in between his legs that required a fingerprint to open.
Robinson told deputies the safe was not his, but after he agreed to place his fingers on the lock one by one his left index finger opened the safe, according to the arrest report.
Inside the safe deputies found 19.4 grams of Fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, alprazolam, amoxicillin, and drug paraphernalia.
Robinson is facing charges of drug trafficking and drug possession.
