MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Thursday's mile-long parade ended with a rally attended by thousands.

As quickly as the stage went up, it was taken down, but what's left behind are the memories made, and those words for all to see -- "History Made!"

Champagne was flowing as players in T-shirts saying "Earned" addressed a proud crowd.

“Nothing matters except what's going on right here, right now, that's all that matters," said P.J. Tucker.

Bucks stand-outs held the trophy high and thanked many.

"You know without you guys, wouldn't have got this done. So shout out to the best fans in the world. Appreciate you all," said Bobby Portis.

"You know from the top down, starting with ownership to management, coaching staff, you know they've had our backs,” said Pat Connaughton.

Multiple screens outside Fiserv Forum gave the crowd a front-row feel.

“We built the most beautiful arena in the world to play in. And hell, we already had the best fans," said Wes Edens, Bucks Ownership Group.

Leaders at the state, county and local levels present on that stage as well.

“We are the champions,” said Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.

“And I just want to say first and foremost thank you to Herb Kohl for making sure that the Bucks stay right here," said Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley.

“This organization's great, but this team is made up of a bunch of great human beings,” said Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers.

Greatness from those in the self-proclaimed "trenches," on up to the MVP, this is a team that wouldn't give up.

“I mean each time we were down 0-2, all we did was get closer. Some teams separate. Some teams point fingers. We never pointed fingers. We never quit on each other,” said Khris Middleton.

"This organization took us in as family.  And in one year, man, look at what we can do. Maybe we can do it again, huh?" Said Jrue Holiday.

“I know my mom's extremely proud. I know my dad's extremely proud. So I'm happy,” said Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Antetokounmpo brothers are the first sibling trio to win NBA titles.

“We believe in ourselves. We went out there to compete and right now I'm extremely happy,” said Antetokounmpo.

Fans have high hopes this team has what it takes to be right back here again next summer.
