By re-signing quarterback Colt McCoy for two seasons, they don’t need to worry about the quarterback position.

Running back

Chase Edmonds signed with the Miami Dolphins but the Cardinals brought back James Conner on a three-year deal. He becomes their No. 1 back. He will be the workhorse this coming season. the No. 2 position can be filled by Eno Benjamin or Jonathan Ward, someone cheap in free agency or through the draft.

Kicker Matt Prater was under contract for next season but punter Andy Lee and long snapper Aaron Brewer were not. By re-signing both Lee and Brewer, the kicking and punting battery returns.
