PORTSMOUTH, NH — Hundreds of people came to Portsmouth Sunday and joined together in Market Square for a peaceful rally.
The rally which is the second one in Portsmouth in recent days featured multiple people speaking to the crowd which had gathered.
A wide range of ages gathered, and held signs supporting Black Lives Matter, and signs against racism and police brutality.
A small portion of the crowd carried anti-police signs, with messages to "defund police" and "abolish police"
During the rally participants laid down for 8 minutes 46 seconds to show the amount of time George Floyd was pinned on the ground by a Minneapolis police officer
